RPET19 is a patented hot melt adhesive carton sealing tape, featuring a backing material made of over 85% recycled PET.
The raw material is sourced entirely from waste plastic bottles, meaning the product follows the principles of the circular economy from the very first step.
This is not a compromise solution: RPET19 is currently considered one of the most environmentally friendly plastic tape options on the market.
Why BOPET? – stronger, thinner, more efficient
RPET19 is manufactured with a BOPET (bi-oriented polyethylene terephthalate) backing.
This material is naturally stronger than the traditionally used BOPP (bi-oriented polypropylene).
As a result:
- RPET19 can deliver the same – or even higher – performance with a 24% thinner backing,
- the 19-micron BOPET layer provides more metres per roll,
- all without increasing the overall roll dimensions.
This means RPET19 can be used on existing taping machines and dispensers without any modification.
Increased efficiency, less waste
Longer tape rolls are not only more convenient, they also deliver measurable business benefits.
By using RPET19:
- downtime caused by roll changes is reduced,
- the efficiency of the packaging process improves,
- fewer rolls are required for the same workload.
