However, the real work is not done on April 22nd. It happens every day when we visit customer sites, measure stretch film consumption, and demonstrate that the same pallet can be wrapped securely using less material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The principle of packaging optimization is simple: achieving the same pallet stability while using less material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among our partners, a 50\u201370% reduction in stretch film consumption<\/strong> is a typical result. These savings are always supported by on-site measurements and detailed analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the M StableSite Audit<\/strong>, we visit the facility, measure actual film consumption, assess machine settings, and provide specific recommendations on where and how much material can be reduced. Less film means lower EPR fees and a smaller carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Stretch film is a recyclable material when handled properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Products such as Manunature RR, Manushrink RR, and Manucover RR<\/strong> are manufactured with a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content<\/strong>, while some variants contain up to 60% recycled material<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is becoming increasingly important from a PPWR<\/strong> perspective as well. Under EU regulations, from 2030 onwards plastic packaging materials will be required to contain a specified proportion of recycled content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Companies that switch to PCR-containing films today not only reduce their environmental impact but also gain valuable time to carry out the necessary optimization processes. Films containing PCR behave differently from conventional materials, both in terms of holding force and machine performance. To maintain the same level of pallet stability, these differences should be tested and validated well in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A packaging operation is truly efficient when it is properly designed from the outset: the right film, the right machine, and the right settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When these elements work together, less material is required, film breakages are reduced, and pallet quality becomes more consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The M-Forum<\/strong> is one of the tools supporting this work.
