At one of our plastic product manufacturing partners, we carried out a comprehensive audit that included an M StableSite test audit and an on-site FEF200 measurement. The goal: to identify the problems arising from manual wrapping and to find the most economical and safest solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/manupackaging.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Manupackaging_muanyag_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manupackaging.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Manupackaging_muanyag_1.jpg 960w, https:\/\/manupackaging.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Manupackaging_muanyag_1-300x213.jpg 300w, https:\/\/manupackaging.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Manupackaging_muanyag_1-768x544.jpg 768w, https:\/\/manupackaging.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Manupackaging_muanyag_1-600x425.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Initial situation: fluctuating film consumption, weak load stability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company previously used manual stretch film to secure the pallets, which caused several issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each employee used a different amount of film, averaging around&nbsp;<strong>400 g per pallet<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wrapping technique varied from person to person, resulting in inconsistent load security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Load stability was often insufficient, and pallets frequently tipped over during transport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damaged goods led to regular customer complaints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Film consumption was unpredictable and wasteful<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The on-site&nbsp;<strong>M StableSite test audit<\/strong>&nbsp;clearly showed that manual wrapping does not provide the required holding force and stability level for the company.<br>The&nbsp;<strong>FEF200 measurement<\/strong>&nbsp;also demonstrated significant differences in strength and consistency between pallets wrapped manually by different operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The solution: switching to automated wrapping with the Sf\u00e9ra robot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the detailed audit, the company invested in a&nbsp;<strong>Sf\u00e9ra wrapping robot<\/strong>, which:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>uses the same amount of film every time, making costs predictable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensures uniform and strong pallet stability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>significantly reduces required film quantity through optimized pre-stretch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>eliminates the errors and risks associated with manual wrapping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results in numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the machine installation, the consumption data improved dramatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manual film usage:&nbsp;<strong>400 g\/pallet<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sf\u00e9ra robot usage:&nbsp;<strong>120 g\/pallet<\/strong><br>\u2192 This means&nbsp;<strong>70% film savings per pallet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This not only leads to substantial cost reduction but also provides environmental benefits by reducing several tonnes of plastic waste annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Audited safety and sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new packaging process was tested again with the M StableSite audit and the FEF200 measurement, which confirmed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pallet stability meets international standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holding force is consistent and safe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Film usage is optimized and repeatable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the company not only saves costs and film but also ensures damage-free transport with a high-quality, audited packaging system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Packaging efficiency today is no longer just a cost issue \u2013 predictable, safe and sustainable pallet stabilization has become a strategic priority for companies.
