At that time, the film thickness was reduced from&nbsp;<strong>17 my to 15 my<\/strong>&nbsp;while maintaining pallet stability.<br>Back then, the&nbsp;<strong>12 my film<\/strong>&nbsp;was not yet suitable for the packaging conditions, but technology has evolved significantly since then \u2014 thanks to&nbsp;<strong>Manupackaging\u2019s continuous innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New test and technological progress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this year\u2019s project, we carried out an&nbsp;<strong>M StableSite test<\/strong>&nbsp;at the customer\u2019s site. The results clearly showed that using the new generation&nbsp;<strong>Manustar\u00ae 12 my film<\/strong>&nbsp;allows for further material reduction.<br>The 12 my film, which was not suitable back in 2022, is now&nbsp;<strong>significantly stronger and more advanced<\/strong>, ensuring&nbsp;<strong>stable and secure pallet wrapping<\/strong>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<strong>considerably less material and lower costs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Test results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the test, we were able to wrap the same pallet using&nbsp;<strong>93 grams of film<\/strong>&nbsp;instead of&nbsp;<strong>122 grams<\/strong>, representing a&nbsp;<strong>23% reduction<\/strong>&nbsp;in film usage by weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impact of the optimization:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>23% reduction in environmental impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8% lower pallet packaging cost<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pallet stability fully maintained, even with thinner film<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuous cooperation and long-term results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We maintain close contact with our customers and immediately test new materials or developments when opportunities arise.<br>Thanks to this proactive approach, another optimization was achieved: our existing partner remains satisfied, as with around&nbsp;<strong>200,000 pallets packaged annually<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>8% cost reduction<\/strong>&nbsp;and even greater material saving make a real difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By switching from&nbsp;<strong>15 my to 12 my film<\/strong>, the company now saves an additional&nbsp;<strong>5.8 tons of packaging material per year<\/strong>\u2014 a major step forward in both&nbsp;<strong>sustainability<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>cost efficiency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is an excellent example of how&nbsp;<strong>continuous development and technological innovation<\/strong>&nbsp;can deliver measurable results.<br>With Manupackaging\u2019s professional support, our client not only reduced costs but also&nbsp;<strong>significantly lowered their ecological footprint<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 all while maintaining the same high packaging safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe packaging optimization could also support your company\u2019s growth, please contact us at\u00a0<strong>+36 30 682 60 50\u00a0<\/strong><br>or\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:iroda@manupackaging.hu\">iroda@manupackaging.hu<\/a><\/strong><br><strong>Gabor Arato<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Manupackaging team has once again proven that sustainability and cost efficiency can go hand in hand.
